Heydon Hill Tree Nursery follows best practice guidelines when it comes to plant health and bio security. We are Plant Healthy Certified and Woodland Trust recommended.
We are committed to the implantation and continuous improvement of biosecurity practices and controls, both on our nursery and in our supply chains. We undertake continuous on site monitoring and control of pests and diseases including external inspections from APHA , annual Plant Healthy audits and as suppliers to The Woodland TrustUKISG audits
We are vigilant for any signs of problems and are able to take appropriate action.
All our stock is either grown from seed in our nursery or produced in the UK from start to finish. We only source our seed from certified suppliers here in the UK.
The staff are aware of all major pests and diseases and undertake regular refresher training.
We hold a passport number that enables us to provide transparency and traceability for every plant that leaves our nursery.
